Wilderness EMT Endorsement

For:

This comprehensive course is for EMT Basic or Advanced and Paramedics who are interested in acquiring wilderness medicine skills, seeking continuing education credits, those seeking Wilderness Medical Society FAWM credit, or for anyone interested in learning more about this topic. All medical professionals are encouraged to take advantage of this bundle, as it covers many topics in wilderness medicine.

Course Description:

This course covers a wide variety of topics relevant to wilderness medicine. Up to 13 credits are available with the completion of this course! Please note that credits do not necessarily correspond directly to the topics listed below.

Objectives: 

After viewing a specific learning module from the WLS:MP Online Lecture Library, participants in the AdventureMed Online Lecture CME Program should be able to demonstrate an increase in, or affirmation of, their knowledge of wilderness medicine. Participants should be able to evaluate the appropriateness of the information as it applies to the provision of patient care or counseling.

Credit:

Each topic is eligible for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™, totaling in a maximum of 13 credits.

Individual certificates will be provided for each module upon completion of the entire bundle.
